Partnership brings a night at a Rox game with proceeds to benefit the Champion Plan and EB hope.

BROCKTON, MA--May 17, 2017— The Brockton Rox today announced a comprehensive partnership agreement with the Office of Mayor Bill Carpenter, The Champion Plan, EB Hope and the Brockton Area Opioid Abuse Prevention Collaborative to bring “A Night Out for Recovery” to Campanelli Stadium.

Campanelli Stadium will come to life on Monday night July 31st, for the Brockton Rox game against the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs for “A Night Out for Recovery”. The night will be dedicated to all that have experienced a friend or family member that has dealt with a Substance Use Disorder in their lives and will honor all those that are living in recovery. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m where fans will have the opportunity to meet with various groups on the concourse and on the lawn at the Shaw’s Center to learn more about various recovery programs that are offered throughout the South Shore. The Rox have set up a special promo code (NightofRecovery2017) for fans to buy tickets at a discounted rate with a portion of the proceeds going to the Brockton Champion Plan and EB Hope. There will also be a parade around the field with various EMS vehicles before the game commences at 7:00 p.m.
