Huntsville Otters Appoint New Co-Coaches for 2017-2018 Season

The Huntsville Otters are pleased to announce the appointment of Co-Coaches for the 2017-2018 season. Joining the Otters are Brent Tomlinson and Marc Gagnon. Rocky Clarke has stepped down as head coach and the Otters would like to thank him for his dedication last season. Remaining with the team are Assistant Coaches Erik MacPherson and Josh Barkey.

Brent and Marc join the Otters after spending the past 3 seasons with the Powasson Voodoos of the NOJHL. 

Brent is from Bracebridge, Ontario and had the following to say about joining the Otters, "I want to thank the voodoos organization for having me on board these last 3 years and I specifically want to thank coach Scott Wray for giving me an opportunity to apart of  his staff, I now plan to take the knowledge I've gained while working under Coach Scott and hopefully find a way to achieve similar success for Otters hockey club." "From meetings we've recently had with management, it's sounds like we have a good core coming back and we just need to fill a few holes to get us rolling for the upcoming season. I'm looking forward to meeting the returning players and I can't wait to see the new recruits on the ice at our July camp"

Marc is from Powasson, Ontario but now lives in Oro-Medonte. Marc brings with him the philosophy or prepare, plan, practice and play hard. "I am excited to get to work and to be part of the Otters organization. Would like to the Scott Wray and the Powasson Voodoos for my time spent with them as well."

Otters management is excited with the new additions and is looking forward to the upcoming season.
