The Windsor Clippers gave up the first goal of the game, but went on a tear and scored 12 of the next 13 goals and cruised to a 13-5 win over the Owen Sound North Stars. The win improves the Clippers to 7-1-1- on the season. Owen Sound dropped to 5-6 on the season.
Andrew Garant led the charge for the Clippers scoring three times and adding four assists. Dylan Riley also scored three goals for the Clippers. Jackman Schooley chipped in with a pair of goals, while singles were scored by Craig Marentette, Chase Kavanaugh, James Morgan, Nathan Salaris and Noah Bushnell. Joel Evans notched the victory in net for the Clippers stopping 39 of 44 Owen Sound shots.
The Clippers head up to Elora on Sunday for a 7:00 pm tilt with the 8-4 Mohawks. The Clippers next home game is this Thursday night when they host the Point Edward Pacers. Game time at Forest Glade arena is 8:00pm
