The Central Canada Hockey League and Nepean Raiders are pleased to announce that ’96 born F Will Lavezzorio has verbally committed to attend NCAA III Connecticut College for 2017-18.

The Lake Forest, IL native is in his first season with the Raiders after coming over from the OJHL’s Kingston Voyageurs back in November.  In 32 games of action, Lavezzorio has 4 goals and 6 points.  He also skates as a member of the Pembroke Lumber Kings in 2015-16 where he scored 1 goal and 1 assist in 8 games.

“Will came to us from Kingston and we immediately recognized the great young man that he is”, stated Raiders Head Coach Darcy Findlay.  “His success on and off the ice is a direct reflection of how Will carries himself daily.  A great teammate and person, he will undoubtedly have success at the next level and later in life,” Findlay went on to add.

Lavezzorio will head to school at Connecticut College in the fall and will suit up for a Camels Hockey Program that plays in the NESCAC.
