February 24th, 2017

CornwallTanner Spink and Nick Lalonde each had two goals and an assist to lead the Cornwall Colts to a 5-3 over the Lasers in Kanata Friday night.

Lalonde now has a team leading 28 goals on the season while Spink now has a career high 20 goals on the campaign.  Jeremy McFarlane scored his 10th of the season as the Colts record improved to 37-13-4-3 for 81 points and 2nd overall in the CCHL.

The Lasers outshot the Colts 33-20 with Matt Efros making 30 saves for the victory.

The Colts next game is against the Gloucester Rangers this Tuesday (February 28th) in Cornwall.  While the game is being played at the Ed Lumley Arena, it is Gloucester’s home game as it is the make-up game from the postponed one earlier this month due to poor weather.

The Colts next official home game is this coming Thursday (March 2nd) vs the Cumberland Grads.  Game time is 7:30pm at the Ed Lumley Arena.
