ELITE EDGE HOCKEY SHOWCASE is pleased to announce the first four NCAA Div. I coaches for our 2017 program.

University of Alabama-Huntsville (head coach Mike Corbett, assistant coach Gavin Morgan), Colgate University (assistant coach Juliano Pagliero), Harvard (assistant coach Rob Rassey) and American International College (assistant coach Steve Wiedler) will all be making return trips back for the 12th annual showcase.  The group of four start off the coaching roster for the coming season – which will include NCAA Div. I/III, USHL and NAHL teams from throughout the United States.

“I am very happy that we are able to announce these four schools as the first four in attendance for the coming season,” said Elite Edge program director Brandon Walker.  “We know how important strong collegiate representation is for our players and it is a big reason why our alumni list features so many players competing at that level.  We want to give our players the best opportunities to move on and having solid NCAA programs is a big part of that.”

Among the teams coming – there are several Elite Edge alumni on the current 2016-17 rosters.  Joshua Kestner (Huntsville, AL) is leading the UAH Chargers with 22 points (nine goals, 13 assists) along with teammates and Elite Edge graduates Austin Beaulieu (Coral Springs, FL) and Adam Wilcox (Alpharetta, Georgia).  Harvard’s roster features Elite Edge graduate Nathan Krusko (see story below).

“This is my fourth visit to Elite Edge and the quality of players and the quality of the program gets better each year,” said Pagliero.  “It is a great opportunity to see some players for down the road, work with some excellent coaches and help players improve and learn about what it takes to play junior and college hockey.”

More coaches are going to be announced in the coming weeks.  Last year’s Elite Edge program featured more than 40 coaches from programs throughout North America.
