The Long Beach Bombers are proud to announce the signing of Canadian ’96-born winger, Sine Chadi. The Edmonton, Alberta native had been playing in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, for the Calgary Mustangs. In 33 Games Played, Chadi recorded 9 Goals and 2 Assists, to go along with 66 Penalty Minutes. The left shot stands 6’3 and weighs 215lbs.

Chadi is a former Edmonton Canadians AAA youth program product, prior to stints in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League and Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. The big winger will become the Bombers 14th “twenty year-old” age-out player. Last season, playing Junior B in the Capital Junior Hockey League in Alberta, Chadi scored a point-per-game and won the league championship.

Long Beach Bombers Head Coach & General Manager, Chris White, commented, “This was all pieced together very quickly, and we are thrilled to announce Sine will be available and in the lineup, tonight, against the Southern Oregon Spartans. He is obviously a big body, but 9 Goals in the AJHL is a solid contribution to the offense. We are hoping Sine steps into our lineup and adds size, toughness, and a net-front presence. We have had a carousel of players utilized on our second power play unit, in the net-front role, and Sine will likely get a fair shot at winning that position as we approach playoffs. We were not looking for a Top-6 type of forward, as we feel we have those players in abundance. Sine is a unique type of player that can possible fill a couple holes for our roster, as we keep our eye on a Thorne Cup run. Sine is very excited to join the team, and his enthusiasm will be a welcomed shot in the arm for our depleted lineup.”
