It is with great sorrow and sadness that I announce the death of William (Bill) Barry. Bill was a long time member of the High Park baseball family. Bill began his service in High Park Tee Ball and then moved on to the High park Little League for approximate 33 years. Bill was Manager of the Pirates in the Major Division, from approximately 1976 to 2006 when he officially hung up his baseball cleats. 

On behalf of the Toronto High Park Little Baseball Association, I offer our sincere condolences to Bill’s family.

Friends may call at Turner and Porter, Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (East of the Jane subway) on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Saturday, January 28th from 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Philips Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to St. Joseph and St. Michael's Health Centres would be appreciated by the family.
