COLTS HEAD INTO CHRISTMAS BREAK WITH 5TH STRAIGHT WIN

December 23rd, 2016 

Cornwall – Two quick goals early in the 3rd period was all the offence the Colts needed to beat Lumber Kings 2-1 in Pembroke and extend their winning streak to 5 games.

Brennan Markell (8) and Chris Mammas (7) scored 15 seconds apart and Liam Lascelle made 25 saves as the Colts record improves to 22-12-1-3.  The victory leaves the Colts with 48 points and fourth overall in the CCHL standings, one point behind Hawkesbury as the league heads into its Christmas break.

The Colts next game is at home on Thursday, January 5th vs the Hawkesbury Hawks.
