CCHL Launch New Team Websites

The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the appointment of Sylvain Favreau (Cumberland Grads)and Rick Dorval (Hawkesbury Hawks) as Head Coaches for the two entries in the Eastern Canada All-Star ChallengeTournament in Cornwall, ON November 14-16, 2016.
Favreau will be assisted by Dan Sauve (Gloucester Rangers) and Dorval will be assisted by Ron Tugnutt (Kemptville 73’s).
Mark Grady (Smiths Falls Bears) and Ian MacInnis (Cornwall Colts) will serve as Senior Advisors to the teams and as former Head Coaches in this event as well as with Team Canada East, liaise with 2016 Team Canada East Head CoachJason Clarke (Carleton Place Canadians) and Assistant Coach Martin Dagenais (Ottawa Jr. Senators) as the preparation for the World Junior A Challenge begins with this event.
The Eastern Canada All-Star Challenge (formerly the Central Canada Cup) originated in the CCHL in 2011 as an all star showcase with a unique format of shortened games to provide the best Junior A players with a meaningful replacement for in league all star games. Smiths Falls (CCHL), Wellington (OJHL), Terrebonne (QJHL), Toronto (OJHL) and Cornwall (CCHL) have hosted in the past with this being the second year of the event that includes the Maritime Hockey League in addition to the founding leagues from the CCHL, OJHL, QJHL and NOJHL.
