CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA. --- Major Arena Soccer League stars representing nine teams will take the field at Cedar Rapids US Cellular Center on Saturday as part of the 2016 MASL International Challenge.
The game, which will kick off at 7 p.m. Central, will feature players from Cedar Rapids Rampage, Chicago Mustangs, Dallas Sidekicks, Detroit Waza, Missouri Comets, San Diego Sockers, Atletico Baja, Soles de Sonora and Syracuse Silver Knights.
“USA vs Mexico in Cedar Rapids, It doesn’t get any better than that,” Rampage Co-Owner and General Manager Chris Kokalis said. “For us, it’s a unique opportunity to introduce the indoor product because it is two indoor national teams. You’re getting guys from throughout the world.”
Saturday will be a rematch between Team USA and Mexico as earlier this summer in Ontario, California, Team USA defeated Mexico 10-8 in front of 7,198 fans in the First ever MASL International Challenge.
Saturday’s game will be streamed live on Go Live Sports Cast, the official broadcast partner of the MASL. Tickets for the game are still available at the US Cellular Center box office or online at Ticketmaster.com. A full roster of the players scheduled to participate is listed below.
