Former 'Kings Goaltender Signs With Jets

The Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League announced the signing of goaltender Jamie Phillips to a two year, entry level contract with an AAV of $675,000. Phillips spent a season playing for the Pembroke Lumber Kings, before he went on to play in the OJHL. During his time with the 'Kings, Phillips earned an impressive 6 shutouts in only 33 games played, with a save percentage of .913. He was with the Lumber Kings when they won the RBC Cup in 2011.

Phillips most recently finished up a four year career with the Division I Michigan Tech Huskies in the NCCA.
