Jordan Larson racked up one point to lead the Carleton Place Canadians to a 4-0 victory over the Gloucester Rangers.

Carleton Place forced Gloucester's goaltenders to work without much rest, finishing with 42 shots and forcing 38 saves. Doug Johnston made 38 stops and Cedric Hansen made zero. The Canadians put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Rangers to score on any of their three power plays. Carleton Place's defensive effort looked to be improved. The Canadians average 2.9 goals allowed per game.

Carleton Place additionally got points from Lucas Batt, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Carleton Place included Will LeNeave and Geoff Kitt, who each put in one. In addition, Carleton Place received assists from Nicolas Carrier and Maxime StPierre, who contributed one each and Ryan Bangs and Matt Lombardozzi, who each chipped in two.

James Edwardson made 18 saves for Carleton Place on 18 shots. The Canadians incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Gloucester incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
