The Midland Flyers had trouble finding ways to stop the Penetang Kings, which beat Flyers, 3-0.

The win by Penetang clinched the best of seven series at 4-1.

Midland's power play was ineffective against the Kings' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Penetang was led by Hayden Cole, who finished with one goal. Cole scored 14:50 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Penetang.

The Kings stifled the Flyers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Penetang also had goals scored by Craig Robinson and Matt Meher, who scored one goal each. More assists for Penetang came via Dallin Blunt, who had one.

Midland put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Penetang to score on any of its six power plays.

The Kings' Andrew North stopped 15 shots out of the 15 that he faced. Penetang incurred 48 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Jake Norton made 19 saves for the Flyers on 21 shots. Midland ended with 49 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major. Team's Tully Jackson and Corey DeRose were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
