Behind two goals from Charlie Izaguirre and two goals Liam VanBuren, the Port Colborne Pirates downed the Buffalo Regals 9-5.

Izaguirre scored the first of his two goals at 1:01 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Colborne. Jordan Bolibruck picked up the assist. Izaguirre's next tally made the score 8-5 Port Colborne with 8:44 left in the third period. Mack Steele provided the assist. VanBuren scored the first of his two goals at 6:56 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Port Colborne. Evan Capobianco picked up the assist. VanBuren's next tally made the score 7-5 Port Colborne with 11:31 left in the third period. Capobianco assisted on the tally.

Buffalo was unable to stop Port Colborne from sending pucks towards the net, and the Pirates eventually piled up 50 shots on goal.
