FARMINGTON HILLS HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

New Collaboration Aims to Grow Number of Youth Hockey Players in Farmington Hills 

DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings and Little Caesars Hockey today announced a collaboration with the
Farmington Hills Hockey Association, allowing it to formally become the Little Caesars Farmington Hills Hockey
Association (LCFHHA) and effectively more than doubling the number of Little Caesars affiliated teams in the
Metro Detroit area.

The agreement allows Little Caesars Hockey the opportunity to develop Farmington Hills-based teams from
Mini-Mite (ages 5-6) up to Midget (ages 15-18) by fully integrating AAA hockey all the way through Initiation
Programs, such as the Detroit Red Wings “Little Wings” program and “TimBits” Learn to Play program,
designed to provide an affordable way for children to learn how to play hockey.

“This collaboration further strengthens Little Caesars’ commitment to hockey in the state at all levels of
competition, while teaming up with the City of Farmington Hills,” said Christopher Ilitch, President and CEO of
Ilitch Holdings, Inc. “For more than a decade, Ilitch Holdings has been a strong and consistent partner with the
Farmington Hills Parks and Recreation Department, and we see this as an extension of our natural working
relationship.”

The agreement more than doubles the number of Little Caesars Hockey affiliated teams from 12 to 27,
resulting in more than 500 players now affiliated with Little Caesars Hockey. The joining of forces between
Little Caesars Hockey Club with the A/AA and House teams of Farmington Hills Hockey will include new Little
Caesars uniforms for participating teams, coaching education programs, shared practices and several other
operational efficiencies.

“The LCFHHA is determined to attract and retain families in greater numbers at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena,
growing the Association’s programming base,” said Darren Eliot, Director of Little Caesars Amateur Hockey.
“We’re excited to welcome new players to the Little Caesars Hockey family and help them continue to grow
and develop both on and off the ice.”

Little Caesars Farmington Hills Hockey Association will now offer 12 AAA boys and girls teams, eight A/AA
teams and seven House teams. The Michigan Amateur Hockey Association’s District 4 council approved the
revised bylaws at a council vote on Aug. 4.
