Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University Athletics Department has partnered with Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. to provide innovative new technology at home football, hockey and basketball games that will provide fans with a more robust Falcon Club 50/50 raffle system. The technology will be unveiled for Wednesday's football game against Kent State.

Fans will find the ease of use, longer buying windows and larger jackpots as a bonus to the department's current Falcon Club 50/50 drawings. This system is quickly gaining adoption among NCAA schools.

"We are excited to implement the new technology," Associate Athletics Director for Internal Affairs Jim Elsasser said. "We are confident that the new system will improve an existing revenue stream while giving fans a greater opportunity to participate and support the Falcon Club."

"Pointstreak 5050 is extremely excited about working with Bowling Green State University and their athletic department," Pointstreak 5050 president Kevin Lovitt said. "Bowling Green has a great reputation nationally and we look forward to the opportunity to work together to generate funds in support of the University."

Nominated for the Best In Sports Technology category at the 2013 Sports Business Awards, Pointstreak 5050 allows raffle tickets to be sold through electronic devices, such as manned kiosks or roving ticket sellers with handhelds. Jackpot totals can be displayed in real time throughout the stadium, so fans can see just how much they can win.
