VANCOUVER, BC - The New England Collegiate Baseball League has partnered with Pointstreak to deliver live video and audio streams of all NECBL games to fans and scouts regardless of what device they use. The NECBL Broadcast, powered by Pointstreak’s live video streaming service, is now online and can be accessed at streaming.necbl.com.

Sean McGrath, Commissioner of the NECBL, summarizes the benefits of live streaming: "Thanks to the NECBL Broadcast Network and Pointstreak, our fans will be able to watch their favorite player(s) and team from anywhere online. In this day and age, fans expect to watch their sporting events from everywhere and anywhere—whether at home, camping, or on the road traveling—and on any device (phones, tablets, Smart TVs, or computers). They can now do so in the NECBL. Every game is also produced with two broadcasters, one from the visiting team and one from the home team. This set-up allows for a more complete coverage of the game where both broadcasters are able to share in the play-by-play and color commenting duties, which makes for a more enjoyable experience for our audience.”

Fans can purchase individual games at $8 per game or season long passes at $200 per season. Live audio from every box score can be accessed for free. Archived games will then be available for $5 per game and are free for season pass holders. The NECBL’s live streams are also fully integrated with Game Live, another free feature that enables fans to view play-by-play data on a live graphical scoreboard.

McGrath added, “In addition to the video and audio broadcast, the NECBL has integrated its live box scores with each broadcast, which will allow users to view current stats, line-ups and substitutions, pitch counts on the same screen as the broadcast.  Together, we believe the NECBL will be providing the most complete online game coverage of summer collegiate baseball leagues in the country.”
