Date: Jul 29, 2017
Former Eagle ace, Anthony Pacillo from Lyndhurst, NJ, has been selected as the ECAC Pitcher of the Week for the Metro/Upstate Division I. According to ECAC, “Pacillo compiled one of his best starts of his career as he improved to 3-2 on the season with his first career complete-game shutout on Tuesday at Monmouth. The left-hander went the distance, allowing just three hits while striking out seven and walking only one.” Congratulations go out to the Seton Hall hurler! Great job Anthony!”
Ryan Bailey, a member of the 2014 NJ Eagles team was recognized as the ECAC Player of the Week for the week ending April 19t. Ryan, from Mt. Kisco NY, hit .700 over the span leading the Monmouth offense to an onslaught over Niagra. All Ryan did was go seven for ten, hitting two dingers, a double, scoring three times and driving in three runs – all in one weekend series. Whenever Niagra looked up, Ryan was almost always on base, as his on base percentage of .727 showed. Continued success Ryno.
