Freshman Matt Krupa is carrying a big time bat for Kean University.  The star infielder from Mahwah is currently leading the Cougars with RBI’s with 29 in 35 games.  He is one of the leading hitters on the squad with a .354 batting average.  He is showing power as he leads the team in extra base hits, with 12 doubles.  In the opening game for the annual NJAC tournament, Matt went 4 for 4 with 2 RBI’s and a run scored pacing the Cougar past Montclair 3-2.  He has also been recognized recently as the NJAC Player of the Week, all he did was hit .625 with two doubles and seven RBIs, and four runs scored.  Matt Krupa will be playing for the North Jersey Eagles and look forward to seeing him hit in the middle of our lineup.
