Bayshore families on Saturday February 28 we will come together for Opening Day! As we embark on a capital campaign to try and raise funds to expand our field and make some significant improvements to our facilities, this year our League’s theme is Field of Dreams.  This is truly an exciting time to be a part of Bayshore Little League.  However, at Bayshore we recognize that sports are so much more than wins and losses, and so on Opening Day we will also be welcoming representatives from the Children’s Dream Fund.   In addition to lots of games on Opening Day we are going to have a number of surprises and fun for everyone, including:

• Plenty of fun activities for the kids and entertainers!
• A DJ cranking out the tunes!
•  Great food from Beef O’Bradys – Come and checkout our new Beefs at the Park
• Members of the USF Baseball
• A table setup where you can:
  • See our field expansion plans
  • Buy a chance to win in our 50/50 raffle. 1 for $5 or 3 for $10.  Picking winning number before 1st pitch!

Opening Day Agenda

Majors Field (arrive at 8:30 am)

Please arrive on time to get with your team and line up for the ceremony. The Plant High School Drum Line will be playing on the field prior to and during the ceremony.

Events on Majors Field - 9am – 11am

• Parade of Teams - Ceremony begins with the Introduction and Parade of all teams
•  Honoring our Champions!
• Champions Challenge – this is a fun skills challenge among Majors Baseball & Softball players, where you will see some monster HRs, amazing throws, and blazing speed. Folks are still talking about the home run derby display last year!

Games beginning after the opening festivites on the respective fields. Your Coahes will have all the details. 

So please join us for this special day on Saturday, February 28, as we join together on our own Field of Dreams while enjoying music, great food provided by Beef O’Brady’s and a ton of entertainment such as magicians, face painters, and balloon twisters for the younger children.
