2015 Western Conference

Date:  Source: Little League Canada - Alberta District 1

Lethbridge was a proud host of the 2015 Little League Western Conference from January 23-25. Over the three days, coaches, umpires and administrators gathered to learn and improve through the clinics put on by the top representitives in their respective fields. Some of the top coaches from around the province delivered presentations aimed at coaches and players of all ages. The feedback recieved was positive and a special thanks needs to be given to the Prairie Baseball Academy, the Lethbridge Bulls, and Under the Lights Sports and Entertainment for putting on such a great event. The hope is to put on an annual clinic, for individuals in the baseball community looking to improve their knowledge. The coaches, umpires and administrators that spoke this year did an amazing job, and the goal is to continue to grow and involve more people in this great game of baseball in Alberta.

As well as the conference, the Prairie Baseball Academy held their 20th Annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, January 24th. This was the first annual banquet to also recognize the achievments of Little League in Lethbridge. The event was a huge success. District #1 Little League is looking forward to continuing to be involved with the Prairie Baseball Academy and the Lethbridge Bulls to help grow baseball in the community.

A feedback form was sent out to everyone on Little League Alberta's current mailing list. If you did not recieve the email, or if you have any comments, feedback or questions about this years event please feel free to contact Mylene Beaulieu at Mylene.Beaulieu@baseball2000.com
