This marked game three and the second home game for the Junior Blades. Wheatfield Looked to build off of the hard work from game two. The Canucks looked to extend the lead to three game.
The first period saw the Canucks jump out to an early lead. Eric Diodati scored with assists from Mark DiFruscio and Cam McLean at the 5:48 mark to make it 1-0 Canucks. Josh Dadic scored with assists from Cam Stewart and George Dunn at the 13:43 mark to make it 2-0. Bryan Komasara scored on the powerplay with assists from Matt Malley and Luke Swimline at the 16:26 mark to make it 2-1. Niagara Falls out shot Wheatfield 11-4 in the period.
The second period saw Niagara Falls extend the lead. Dustin Scott scored on the powerplay with assists from Cam McLean and Cody Vinnai at the 6:03 mark to make it 3-1. Mark DiFruscio scored with assists from George Dunn and Josh Dadic at the 12:43 mark to make it 4-1. Mark Difruscio scored his second of the game with assists from Josh Dadic and Kyle Steckley at the 14:35 mark to make it 5-1. Niagara Falls out shot Wheatfield 18-6 in the period.
The third period saw Niagara Falls continue to put pucks in the net. Ryan Wiley scored with assists from Dustin Scott and Dave Grant at the 49 second mark to make it 6-1. Cam McLean scored with assists from Tom Baker and Myles Micallef at the 3:32 mark to make it 7-1. Dustin Scott scored his second of the game with assists from Dave Grant and Ryan Wiley at the 8:46 mark to make it 8-1. Cam Stewart scored on the powerplay with assists from Mark DiFruscio and Josh Dadic at the 17:53 mark to make it 9-1. George Dunn scored with an assist from Nick Gallardi at the 18:46 mark to make it 10-1. Josh Dadic scored his second of the game with assists from Myles Micallef and Nick Gallardi at the 19:48 mark to make it 11-1. Niagara Falls out shot Wheatfield 17-13 in the period and 46-23 in the game. Junior Blades Goalie Eric Moeller had 35 saves in the loss.
The Junior Blades will head to the Gale Centre Friday Night. Face Off is set for 7:30. The Junior Blades will be looking to steal game four and extend the series.
