PART 2 Pearson wants to finish Jr. career in Owen Sound

The Junior Blades looked to rebound from a horrific game one. Niagara Falls looked to continue the dominace over the Junior Blades. The Junior Blades fans came out to Cheer the Junior Blades on with the biggest home crowd of the season.
The first period saw Wheatfield come out flying. Matt Malley scored on the powerplay with assists from Bryan Komasara and Kevin LaRocque at the 3:42 mark to make it 1-0 Junior Blades. Dustin Scott scored with assists from Dave Mathers and Dave Grant at the 4:13 mark to tie it at one. Mitchell Eisenberg scored with assists from Ryan Schmelzer and Cory Dawson at the 7:33 mark to make it 2-1 Junior Blades. Dave Grant scored on the powerplay with assists from Eric Diodati and Dustin Scott at the 18:56 mark to tie it at two. Wheatfield out shot Niagara Falls 13-12 in the period.
The second period saw the two teams battle hard but the Canucks still took the lead. Dave Mathers scored on the powerplay with assists from Dave Grant and Cam McLean at the 18:00 mark to make it 3-2 Canucks. Niagara Falls out shot Wheatfield 13-11 in the period.
The third period saw Niagara Falls extend the lead. Dave Grant scored shorthanded at the 11:39 mark to make it 4-2 Canucks. Mitchell Eisenbers scored his second of the game on the powerplay with assist from Ryan Schmelzer and Cory Dawson at the 17:06 mark to make it 4-3. Dave Mathers scored a empty net goal at the 18:47 mark to make it 5-3 Canucks. Wheatfield out shot Niagara Falls 16-10 in the period and 40-35 in the game.
The Junior Blades will be hosting game three of the searies on Tuesday March 8th at the Buffalo State College Ice Arena. Face off is set for 7:00pm and Admission will be free. So come on out and Make some noise for your Wheatfield Junior Blades.
