With September fast approaching and the beginning of the fall semester, the Hokie Hockey team is gearing up for the start of the 2014-2015 campaign. Virginia Tech will open up the season against Millersville University on September 19th at the Roanoke Civic Center.  Face-off is set for 7:30 pm. Unfortunately, the team is still trying to finalize the remainder of the schedule, so a comprehensive schedule will be released in the next couple of days.  While still trying to firm up the last few game dates/times, season tickets will also be going on sale within the month. Information regarding cost/where to purchase will be released as soon as it becomes known.

We will be holding two information sessions for general information about the club as well as tryout procedure. These meetings will take place as follows:

    Tuesday, August 26th, 6pm in Squires Student Center room 341

    Wednesday, August 27th, 6pm in Squires Student Center room 341

You will need to attend one of the two sessions if you are interested in trying out for the team (any problems, contact Michael Horn). Beginning the second week of class, tryouts for the squad will take place, and the dates/times for those skates are: 

    Monday, September 1st, 7:15 pm at Lahaye Ice Center in Lynchburg, VA 

    Tuesday, September 2nd, 10:00 pm at Lahaye Ice Center in Lynchburg, VA

The coaching staff will then make the first round of cuts and the final tryout will take place on Wednesday, September 3rd at 7:45 pm in Lynchburg.  The team will provide van travel to and from Lynchburg for the first two skates, and further information will be released closer to the start of school.  Any other questions feel free to email an officer or a member of the coaching staff.  We hope to see you in September.
