Challenger Baseball Program Now Open for New Players and Youth Volunteers

Date:  Source: Bayshore Little League

Bayshore Little League families are invited to recruit new players and volunteers for the Challenger baseball program at Palma Ceia Little League. The Challenger baseball program is for boys and girls age 5-19 with learning disabilities that would like to play the sport of baseball:

  • Games are played at Palma Ceia Little League on Saturdays during the Spring from 4pm-6 pm (starting in February).
  • Financial sponsorship is available for those families in need; no one is ever turned away.
  • Each Player is paired up with a youth volunteer "buddy" (age 13 or older) that will help in the field and at the plate if necessary.
  • Buddies are asked to commit to at least 4 games out of the season which is 8-10 games.
  • Not all Buddies will have a player but are still needed to help perform field preparation, equipment, water and dug-out management.

Come play and join the Challenger family. For more information, contact Bobbi Royak at bobbir@pcll.org or call (813) 833-5772
