A goal by Giorgio De Bettin put Hafro SG Cortina up 3-1 in the third period, but HC Appiano Roi Team pulled to within one on Daniel Peruzzo's tally 9:14 into the third period.

Hafro SG Cortina's penalty kill excelled, as Hafro SG Cortina gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Hafro SG Cortina stifled HC Appiano Roi Team's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Hafro SG Cortina also got points from Stanisav Gron, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Hafro SG Cortina also got a goal from Alexander Gellert as well. More assists for Hafro SG Cortina came via Peter Wunderer, who had two and Alessandro Zanatta and Alex Talamini, who each chipped in one.

Philipp Platter also scored for HC Appiano Roi Team. In addition, HC Appiano Roi Team received assists from Jan Waldner, Robert Raffeiner, and Tobias Ebner, who contributed one each.

Martino Valle Da Rin rejected 26 shots on goal for Hafro SG Cortina. Hafro SG Cortina incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. HC Appiano Roi Team took out Gianluca Vallini after he had made six saves and installed Alex Tomasi in goal, where he finished with eight saves and the loss.
