Meyer had a brilliant collegiate career at Coker College located in Hartsville, South Carolina. In 109.2 Innings Pitched, he had 90 strikeouts and a 4.43 ERA. He was an MVP honor for a regional tournament game that led Coker to their first ever NCAA DII Baseball National Championship. An all-conference second team, Conference Carolinas All-tournament team and NCAA Southeast region All-Tournament Team were all rewarded to Meyer. 

Following Coker, he played in the Frontier League for 2 years with the Rockford Aviators. In 2012 with Rockford he had a 3.55 ERA and in 2014 he had a 4.22 ERA. 

Meyer played 2 years in the Canadian-American Association with 2 different teams, the Ottawa Champions and later the New Jersey Jackals. He pitched in 19 games with the Champions before being traded to the Jackals in 2015, and pitched 2 for them. 

He has pitched in 10 games in the USPBL in 2016, starting in 5 of them. He has a 5.40 ERA in 23.1 Innings so far on the year.
