Jimmy Turk joins the Waterloo Bucks for his first season in 2016 as the team’s hitting coach. Turk just finished his first year as an assistant baseball coach at South Mountain Community College, where the team went 38-20 and qualified for the ACCAC Playoffs. Before coaching at South Mountain Community College, Turk coached for seven years at Slammers Baseball in Colorado. During his time at Slammers, Turk coached 148 players who went on to play college baseball, including 73 who went on to play Division 1 baseball and 19 of whom were selected in the MLB Draft.
