•Pitched one inning against Utah, his first career Pac-12 appearance, and allowed two hits and struck out one (3/24)
•Tossed a career-long three innings at #3 Oregon State (3/19) and scattered five hits and two runs
•Allowed just one hit a struck out one in two scoreless innings of work at #23 Cal State Fullerton (3/9)
•Made his first career start against Nevada (2/23) and conceded six runs, including four earned, on six hits
•Made his first career appearance against Xavier and allowed just one hit and notched two strikeouts in one inning (2/20)
MLB Draft:
•Was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 32nd round (953rd overall) of the 2015 MLB Draft
Personal: Chose ASU because of the rich history of winning baseball...hopes to win a national championship at ASU and carry on the great tradition...outside of baseball he enjoys golfing, spending time with family and friends, football and anything involving athletics...his older brothers have had the biggest influence on his baseball career so far as they have been great role models for him to look up to, and both have been to Omaha and know what it takes to get there...one of his greatest obstacles in life was when his grandfather passed way...goals for his baseball career are winning a national championship while at ASU and playing Major League Baseball...outside of baseball he plans on receiving his degree from ASU and professionally he would like to run is own company...his grandfather played basketball at the University of Michigan...his father was an All-American swimmer at Indiana University...his brothers, Walker and Sullivan, played baseball at Indiana University, played in multiple Big Ten Championships and have been to Omaha.
