High School: Earned five prep letters in baseball at Elizabethtown High School, where he was coached by Don Pitts. Ranked as a top 500 player nationally and the No. 4 player in the state of Kentucky in the class of 2015 by Perfect Game. Two-time All-State honoree, four-time all-region selection and four-time all-area standout for the Panthers. Senior season was cut short early with an elbow injury. Hit .442 with 12 doubles, six triples, one homer and 34 RBI as a junior after hitting .509 with 56 RBI, 17 doubles, two triples and six home runs during sophomore season. Hit .391 with nine doubles and 18 RBI as a prep freshman.

Favorite athlete is Yadier Molina. Favorite candy bar is Reese’s. Favorite foods are steak and seafood. Favorite team is St. Louis Cardinals. His dad Bill played three seasons of professional baseball in the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals farm systems. His grandfather Les Pinkham played five seasons of professional baseball in the Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals organizations and played collegiate football at the University of Illinois.
