Denis Lyman is a right handed pitcher who joins the Muskrats following his
junior year at the University of Bridgeport. In 2016, Denis had a 3-3 record in 15
appearances. He had a 3.07 ERA over 41.0 innings while holding opponents to a
.229 batting average. He also struck out 33 while walking 10. In 2015 he redshirted
at Lee University. In the 2014 season, Denis went 1-1 in 14 innings at Herkimer
County Community College. He only gave up 1 extra base hit that season. Denis is
the son of Robert Lyman and Rose Wilson. The Kingston, New York native attended
Kingston High School. His baseball honors include Class AA state champion and
Baseball America Division 3 Junior College player to watch in 2013. Last summer
Denis played for NECBL foe Danbury Westerners. He appeared in 10 games and had
an ERA of 5.55. He recorded one save for the Westerners.
