Anthony Godino is an outfielder who joins the Muskrats following his
sophomore year at Wagner College. In 2016, Anthony started 37 games. He hit .276
with one home run and 17 RBIs. He recorded a season high 3 hits against Mount St.
Mary’s. In 2015, Anthony hit .348, which was the second-highest batting average on
the team and in the Northeast Conference. He also drove in 30 runs. He was named
to the prestigious NCAA Division I Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American Team
by Collegiate Baseball newspaper. He is the third player in Wagner history to be selected
to this award. The Thornwood, New York native attended Pleasantville High
School, where he was a shortstop and a pitcher. As a junior, Anthony hit .400 with 31
runs scored, two home runs and 13 stolen bases. He was named Northeast Region
Honorable Mention by Perfect Game USA.
