Cameron Burt is a right handed pitcher who joins the Muskrats following
his sophomore year at Queens College. In 2016, Cameron started 8 games for the
Knights and posted a 2-3 record. In 30.0 innings of conference play, he had a 3.00
ERA and held opponents to a .198 average. His best performance of the season came
in an April 25 victory over Mercy where he allowed four hits in eight scoreless innings
while striking out a season high five batters. In 2015, Cameron led the Knights
pitching staff in wins (4) and strikeouts (48). He earned his first career win with five
innings of work against Caldwell in an outing where he didn’t allow an earned run
and fanned eight. The Mattituck, New York native attended Mattituck High School
where his 59 innings pitched and 70 strikeouts as a junior are third and fifth in single
season totals in Mattituck history.
