Grant Meylan is an outfielder who joins the Muskrats following his sophomore

year at Santa Clara University. In 2016, Grant started 33 games while batting

.274 and driving in 9 runs. In 2015, Grant hit .259 with 13 RBIs. He scored 33 runs,

which was second on the team. He was the only Bronco to start and appear in all 54

games in 2015 and drew a team high 35 walks. Defensively he led the team with 10

outfield assists. Grant is the son of Philip and Deborah Meylan and has a younger

brother named Scott. The Concord, California native attended Clayton Valley High

School. In 2013, he posted a .526 batting average and received first Team All-Diablo

Valley Athletic League honors. He helped his team reach the semifinals of the 16

team North Coast Section Baseball Tournament, was named to the 2013 All-Bay

Area World Series First Team, and earned the Most Outstanding Defender award.
