Coach Ramsey currently is a scout with the Seattle Mariners, and has been affiliated with the Mariners in various instructional and coaching capacities since 2006. The veteran coach most recently served as Head Assistant Coach for Clark College from 2011 - 2014. Rip starred at Prairie High School under Don Freeman and led the Falcons to the school's first state championship. He also led the Vancouver Cardinals to their first American Legion State Title and was named Most Valuable Player. Rip went to Yakima Valley College where he was selected as the NWAACC Player of the Year in 1988. He later played for Washington State University under legendary coach Bobo Brayton and was named team captain in 1991. After an injury as a starting middle infielder, Rip finished his career as an outstanding pitcher. Rip started the Bulldog Baseball Academy in 2005, teaching and instructing players at camps and clinics across the Northwest.
