Aaron, a freshman right handed pitcher from Springfield, Oregon, has been a key inning grabber for Mt. Hood this season along with fellow Saint and Black Bear Joe Balfour en-route to an impressive 31-15 record, winning eight out of the last ten games as they clinched the top spot in the South Region of the NWAC.  Aaron has worked to a 3-3 record with a 5.00 ERA in 11 games, all starts, this season. Delivering 45 innings with 38 strikeouts and just 22 walks. Aaron’s last start was a no decision where he tossed five innings allowing five earned runs on six hits with two walks and one strikeout but the Saints came out with the victory 7-5 over Lane CC. Aaron’s last victory from the mound was his previous outing, on May 2nd in a 19-0 drubbing of Linn-Benton. Clift threw five innings of shutout ball, allowing just five hits and walking one with four K’s. Aaron can swing the bat a bit, but only in a time of need and was allowed just one at-bat during the season with Mt. Hood.
