The Glenview native spent three seasons in the Phillies organization before joining the Chiefs this spring. Serritella started last year with the Clearwater Threshers (A+) before a call-up landed him on the Reading Fightin Phils (AA) roster. He showed off his power, crushing nine home runs between the two teams while knocking in 36. Serritella smashed 12 homers and 53 RBI in 2013 with Clearwater after one year with the Williamsport CrossCutters (2012). The Philadelphia Phillies selected the first baseman out of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in the fourth round of 2012 draft.
