The 22-year comes to Bridgeport for his first season of Independent Ball after four years in the affiliated ranks. Rodney played three years in the Pirates’ organization and one in the Rockies’s organization.

Rodney made the team out of Spring Training this year, and brings solid defensive prowess and speed to the ball club. He will see most of his time in the middle-infield this season.
