Mike Jackson was signed by the Freedom on July 2nd, 2010 out of Penn State Greater Allegheny. This will be his first appearance in pro ball. He will immediately join the starting rotation for the Freedom. He was named a USCAA 2010 Baseball All-American and made the 2010 All-Academic Team while playing at PSGA.

2010: Went 7-1 with PSGA over 9 starts. He tallied 5 complete games, an ERA of 1.91 and 56 strikeouts in 51 innings. 

2009: In his first season at PSGA he posted a record of 6-3 with an ERA of 3.47 and 51 strikeouts in 46.2 innings.
