Woodchucks ’13: Appeared in 20 games in his second season with the Woodchucks… Pitched in 21.2 innings while recording a 2.08 ERA… Struck out 26 batters while walking 12 batters and surrendering only five earned runs… Lead the team with eight saves on the season… Opponents batted just .141 against him.

Blue Jays ’13: Appeared in only three games where he pitched 3.2 innings… Recorded a record of 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA…In his lone win of the season, pitched 2.2 innings giving up only one hit, striking out one batter and walking none.

Woodchucks ’12: Worked as the team’s primary closer for the first two months, compiling a 2-1 record with a 1.58 ERA and six saves. Ising started the season strong, not allowing a run through his first eight appearances (8.2 IP). In 17 total innings, Ising recorded 24 strikeouts to go alongside 14 walks. Had a stretch from June 11-17 where he recorded nine total outs, all via the strikeout.

High School: A two-year letter winner in baseball at Lee’s Summit HS, Ising pitched and played the field for the Titans…Ising posted a 4-0 record with a 2.13 ERA as a senior.  At the plate he hit .492 with 28 RBI while hitting seven doubles…Ising was a Suburban Middle Six Second Team selection following his senior campaign as a third baseman.
