This will be Strawn’s fifth year of independent baseball.  He started his career with the Shreveport-Bossier Captains back in 2011.  The Lemurs will be his third team in the American Association.  He spent time with Grand Prairie AirHogs and the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League in 2013.  He attended Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia.
