The southpaw completed his first spring working out of the Cal bullpen. Kurrasch was a first team All-League selection at Serra High School in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. He won seven games during his senior season and posted a microscopic 0.67 ERA with 58 strikeouts. He was 2007 USA National Team Invitee. As of May 9, the lefty is 0-0 with a 5.59 ERA in nine appearances and 9.2 innings of work. Through 10 relief appearances with the Golden Bears, the left-hander has an 8.38 ERA and does not have a decision.
