Woolard was recently named American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Year after helping guide the Spartans to their first ever appearance in the NAIA National Championship opening round. Woolard finished 7-1 with a 4.08 ERA in 15 appearances and 53 innings of work. Woolard transferred from Lincoln Memorial University where he made 12 appearances in 2009. In 57.2 innings he went 4-5 with a 5.62 earned run average, striking out 36 and walking 20 while holding opponents to a .343 batting average.
