Zeke joins the Huskies after having a successful Freshman season
with the Miami Hurricanes. DeVoss earned the starting Center field
position during the season and has became a key component of
Miami’s success during the Collegiate season. Batting .269 and
stealing 22 – 26 bases, DeVoss is a dangerous player both on the
basepaths and in the outfield with tremendous range and athletic
ability.The highly recruited outfielder was drafted in the 38th
round by the Boston Red Sox out of high school, and played on
the prestigious Orlando Scorpions Baseball club during the summer
of 2009. In High School. Zeke earned Team MVP and First Team
All-Cape Coast Conference honors as a senior after hitting .518
with four home runs, 18 RBI, 31 runs scored and 19 steals despite
missing seven games due to injury.Named to the Under Armour
Preseason All-America Team and was invited to attend the Under
Armour All-America game.

 Personal: Son of Angie and Mark DeVoss, he is majoring in Business
Management and has has two brothers, Eli and Simon, and a sister,
Celia.
