Outfielder Robert Perry joins the AirHogs after spending the majority of his last three seasons in the San Diego Padres farm system, with the exception of a 61-game stint in the (Independent) Frontier League.  Starting off 2009 with Windy City Thunderbolts, Perry batted .397 with 83 hits in 61 games, before being he was re-acquired by the Padres and the Lake Elsinore Storm of the California League (Single A) for 26 games.

Perry played out his collegiate career at Long Beach State University, and was drafted by the Padres in the 16th round of the 2007 MLB June Amateur Draft.
