Aldridge spent time at the Major League level for the Atlanta Braves in 2001 and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2010. He got his first major league hit against the Oakland Athletics on an RBI triple. In 2010, he was called up by the Angels to play in the outfield.

Earlier this year, Aldridge played for both the Tigers de Quintana Roo and Acereros de Monclova of the Mexican League. He had 21 hits, three home runs, and 14 RBI for the teams before joining the Patriots.

Aldridge has six seasons at the Triple-A level for the Kansas City Royals, New York Mets, and Angels organizations.

Aldridge also has Atlantic League experience playing with the Newark Bears in 2008. While with the Bears, he had 54 RBI and a .365 batting average to go with his seven home runs.

He has a minor league career batting average of .266, 758 runs, 1,420 hits, 280 doubles, 48 triples, 215 home runs, and 853 RBI in 1,499 games played.

Aldridge was originally drafted in the fourth round of the 1997 MLB Draft by the Braves.
