Randy returns for his fourth season with Ducks after posting an 11-10 record with a 4.31 ERA in 2009 and is only four wins from tying the Ducks’ All-time wins record, currently held by Lance Davis.

Leek, voted to the Ducks 10th Anniversary All-Time Team last season, compiled a 12-3 record and notched a 3.66 ERA in 2008. In 2007, he posted a 5-1 record for Long Island with an impressive 2.24 ERA in 84.2 innings pitched. His efforts earned him a late-season stint with Syracuse (AAA, Blue Jays) of the International League. Leek has played 10 years of professional baseball, making five stops at the Triple-A level along the way.

The homegrown hurler returned to the game with a vengeance after missing the entire 2003 season due to injury. His best year came in 2005, when he went 15-7 in 28 appearances (27 starts) for Springfield (AA, Cardinals), collecting a career-high 185.2 innings. That season, Leek posted a 3.83 ERA and struck out 102 batters while walking only 29. His efforts earned him a promotion to the Triple-A level. In addition to the Cardinals, Leek has pitched in the Tigers and Dodgers organizations. For his career, he has compiled an 80-62 record and an ERA of 3.73 in 234 minor league games (207 starts).

Leek played collegiate baseball at William & Mary. He was selected in the 18th round of the 1999 draft by the Detroit Tigers.
