During his previous seasons with the Wild Things, Bob served in many capacities, including bench coach, infield coach, hitting coach, and third base coach. He helped guide the team during some of their most successful stretches in franchise history, including multiple postseason berths, a club-record 63 wins in 2005, and a trip to the Frontier League Championship Series in 2007. 

Additionally, Bob has also managed successful teams in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League, the Erie Shores Summer Collegiate League and the Tri-State Summer Collegiate League. 

Bob is entering his seventh year as an assistant coach in the Frontier League.
