AS A SOPHMORE: Transferred to Saint Thomas Aquinas. He played every game at first base for St. Thomas Aquinas College and was one of the key factors in leading STAC to a 39-14 record, an East Coast Conference Tournament Championship, a #2 East Region ranking, an appearance in the NCAA DII East Regional, and a final NCBWA national ranking of #22. He led the ECC in hits (74) and batting average (.383) and was selected to the All-ECC team. He also played a flawless first base, going errorless in 24 ECC games (217 total chances). For his efforts on and off the field, Kirshner has been named the Spartan's co-captain for the 2013-2014 season. Review stats at the following link:

AS A FRESHMAN: Played in 33 games, making 26 starts...Hit .227, with 14 RBI and nine runs scored...Had a base hit in his collegiate debut at Central Florida (2/18)...Had back-to-back multi-hit games against Army and Dartmouth (3/29-30)...Went 3-for-6 in two MAAC Tournament games against Canisius and Manhattan (5/28).
BEFORE SIENA: Played four years of varsity baseball at Cornwall High School...A two-time All-Section selection, and a first-team All-State selection as a senior...Also played four years of football as a kicker and punter.
ROSSI ON KIRSHNER: “Ken is coming off an outstanding fall. He is an outstanding defender and came into his own offensively as the fall progressed. He will add depth to the squad backing up at first base and getting playing time in the outfield and as a DH."
